Banaban school on Rabi Island Fiji where the kids commit to 20 minutes plastics pick up each week this was their first effort. This initiative is is part of the Plastic Free Oceans - Sustainable Social direct projects.
This is crazy - 3/4 filled this bin yesterday with plastic beads from the gutter between our house and the coffee shop half a block away and the ocean is only 400m down the road. Yes, yes I should have taken some photos yesterday day :-(
Plastics on the beach. Sure we did not get too close for all the COVID reasons, but was a lovely walk down the beach with my friend Kay to pick up a few plastics coming in from the ocean. Our usual bag of rubbish then a coffee on a beautiful Autumn morning - nice. 2 people were involved in the activity
