An artisan bakery for 30 years serving traditional pastries, cakes and gourmet pies together with a selection of handmade bread and rolls. With a day’s notice AJ’s can create a light and fluffy sponge with jam and fresh cream or a dark moist mud cake with strawberries and a rich ganache; perfect to celebrate your special occasion.

Come in for a fabulous coffee or tea and enjoy it with an award winning vanilla slice, custard tart or humble rock cake. Avoid the crowds and humdrum of the shopping centres with delicious treats and daily staples served effortlessly at the street front shop on south Orient Street opposite Target.

For sustainability

Every time we purchase supplies we consider or request that with the least plastic packaging.
We have a strong commitment to recycling and request our customers consider the same.
We prefer customers not to have a plastic bag, but if required it available for a fee and that fee is donated to Childhood Cancer Research.
We do not supply plastic straws.
We make available Plastic Free Oceans cards inviting customers to be part of the solution to the plastics crisis.

    One or more of our team spends at least 15 minutes each week (or at least one hour each month) picking up plastics in our area. So, we keep our small part of the earth as free of plastic as possible - it's a small action we do to protect marine and other wildlife. We hope all businesses and organisations in the world will join us in doing the same.
