In galle and focused on the villages: Rathgama, Madampe, Hikkaduwa, Baddegama. The is working with some villagers with their own support, such as revolving funds and income generation.
One or more of our team spends at least 15 minutes each week (or at least one hour each month) picking up plastics in our area. So, we keep our small part of the earth as free of plastic as possible - it's a small action we do to protect marine and other wildlife. We hope all businesses and organisations in the world will join us in doing the same.

Southern Fisheries Organization Galle- Clean-up campaignYouth group leaders attached to the Galle district had their monthly meeting on 21.02.2023 in Galle. After the youth leaders' meeting members conducted a clean-up campaign in Ratgama lagoon in order to prepare for 'World mangroves day 2023. The youth Coordinator and 09 youth members attended this campaign. After the clean-up, they planted new mangrove plants to protect the lagoon area.ගාල්ල - දකුණු ධීවර පද්ධතිය - පිරිසිදු කිරීමේ කාර්යය.ගාල්ල දිස්ත්රික්කයේ තරුණ කණ්ඩායම් නායකයින්ගේ මාසික රැස්වීම 2023.02.21 දින ගාල්ලේදී පැවැත්විණි. තරුණ නායක රැස්වීමෙන් අනතුරුව 2023 ලෝක කඩොලාන දිනයට සුදානම් වෙමින් සාමාජිකයින් රත්ගම පොකුණ පිරිසිදු කිරීමේ මෙහෙයුමක් දියත් කරන ලදී. මෙම ව්යාපාරය සඳහා තරුණ සම්බන්ධීකාරක සහ තරුණ සාමාජිකයින් 09 දෙනෙකු සහභාගී විය.පිරිසිදු කිරීමෙන් පසු පොකුණු ප්රදේශය ආරක්ෂා කිරීම සඳහා නව කඩොලාන රෝපණය කරන ලදී.காலி - தெற்கு மீன்பிடி அமைப்பு - தூய்மைப்படுத்தும் பணி.காலி மாவட்டத்தின் இளைஞர் குழுத் தலைவர்களின் மாதாந்திரக் கூட்டம் 21.02.2023 அன்று காலியில் நடைபெற்றது. இளைஞரணி தலைவர்கள் கூட்டம் நடைபெற்ற பிறகு உறுப்பினர்கள் 2023 ஆம் ஆண்டு உலக சதுப்புநில தினத்திற்கு தயாராகும் வகையில் ரத்கம குளத்தில் தூய்மைப்படுத்தும் பணியை மேற்கொண்டனர்.இந்த பிரச்சாரத்தில் இளைஞர் ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் மற்றும் 09 இளைஞர் உறுப்பினர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.சுத்தப்படுத்திய பின், குளத்துப்பகுதியை பாதுகாக்க புதிய சதுப்புநில செடிகளை நட்டனர்.
The Galle district in the Southern Province, Sri Lanka informed us that they have been conducting various environmental programs to protect the Rathgama lagoon, in Galle for more than 05 years. During a discussion I had with the District Coordinator Galle recently, he mentioned that they work with community groups such as fisher groups women and youth groups to carry out the environmental and clean-up programs in selected locations in the Galle district. They are now collecting plastic items with the help of youth group members and have sold to private venders. Further the Coordinator mentioned that NAFSO teams work with Local government agencies to promote environmental and beach cleaning programs in the Galle district.Please note this report item is simply to start the Galle reporting. The team from the Galle District with the children's group launched a program to clean the Kosgoda beach on 22.05.16.22.05.16 දින ගාල්ල දිස්ත්රික්කයේ පිරිසක් කුඩා ළමුන් පිරිසක් සමග කොස්කොඩ වෙරළ පිරිසිදු කිරීමේ ව්යාපෘතිය ආරම්භ කරන ලදී.காலி மாவட்டத்தைச் சேர்ந்த குழு சிறுவர் குழுவுடன் இணைந்து கொஸ்கொட கடற்கரையை சுத்தப்படுத்தும் வேலைத்திட்டத்தை 22.05.16 அன்று ஆரம்பித்தனர்.
